New Camera

We ordered a new camera using M's reward points accumulated from his credit card spending, and it just arrived earlier this week. We got another Canon, since I'm a fan of the brand. We haven't fully tested it out yet, but I can't wait to use it this weekend and next. Unfortunately, it only came with a 32MB memory card, which allows us to take like 15 pictures, and is not compatible with the memory card (or battery) in our old camera, so we're going to have to get another card before fully putting it to use. I started looking into it on Amazon and shopping.com, but just get overwhelmed with the different brands and wide range of prices. I do think that it's much cheaper getting it online than at the store. I was thinking of getting a 2GB one... hopefully that will be sufficient for any pictures or videos we'd take. Any suggestions on vendor, memory size, brand, or other accessories like camera bags and spare batteries? Please feel free to add a comment. Hopefully we can order one soon and receive it by next weekend before our trip to Lancaster. If not, we'll just have to carry two cameras with us. Too bad we couldn't trade in the old one... we did look into it briefly on B&H's website, but it's not worth anything anymore. I guess it doesn't hurt to have it as a backup. Or maybe we'll include it in the garage sale we keep telling ourselves we'll have later this summer.
