Separation Anxiety

Baby K has developed a bad case of separation anxiety. I don't know if it's as a result of the trip and spending the entire week with us, or if she's just at the age where she recognizes us, but for the past three days, she threw a tantrum when I left her at daycare. The second she couldn't see me, she started bawling (even if I was just across the room putting away her bottles). I felt terrible leaving her crying, but it had to be done. It got a little better today, as she was preoccupied with looking at the other babies around her, so I was able to make my escape with little resistance. But baby K is pretty independent; I'm sure she'll be fine by next week.
